Presentations and ERP Dictionary assignment

The course presentations are stored on the shared drive and you can access them at http://goo.gl/0jL4um.

In the ERP world, there are so many new concepts and products that need to refer to very frequently every day. Generally some short forms of the lengthy names are created and used which become like new words of the ERP language. In the first week of your course, you have encountered with several such terms. A collaborative excercise for all of you is to start preparing a Dictionary of all ERP terms. I have created a shared spreadsheet at http://goo.gl/vvmpKI. All of you are authorized to edit this spreadsheet. You need to do the following to complete the assignment:
  1. Please review the presentations of the first week
  2. Identify a special terms used in these presentations
  3. Divide these terms equally among all of you for further research
  4. Each one of you search internet for the term and find out the full form of the term and the definition of the term.
  5. Update the information into the shared spreadsheet.
Please complete the assignment before Monday (5th August), morning.

Welcome

We are pleased to welcome all students of the first batch of "Post Graduate Diploma in ERP (PGDERP)". It is indeed, incredible, that within a span of just 4 months, we could design the course, get it approved from SAP, get on board the industry partners, identify and recruit faculty and execute the entire process of admitting the students.

My brief interaction with students in the last 2 days is very positive. I think, we have excellent quality of students. All students seem to be genuinely very interested and energized.
